Currently headed by Andrew Parker the company has expanded its interests in the food industry since its inception in the 19th Century. With rapid business growth during the 20th Century, the company invested in numerous food businesses as well as land and property.

Randall Parker Food Group

Randall Parker Food Group bought Weddel Swift in 1995. Weddel Swift is one of the oldest and most respected meat businesses in the world, operating as a UK distribution business with 14 depots strategically located throughout the UK.

Weddel Swift is also an international trading business buying and selling meat and proteins around the World. With the backing of the Parker name, Weddel Swift have expanded substantially with offices in the UK, Germany, South America and South Africa.

NCB Foodservice

Established in 1993. NCB provides corporate buyers with a direct local delivery solution of fresh food categories with competitive national pricing, central administration and crucially local service through their proprietor driven network of supply partners.

With the backing of the Parker name, NCB has become a major supplier of meat, fruit and vegetables, bakery and dairy to a large customer base that includes healthcare, restaurants, hotels and contract caterers.

Property Development

A prestigious and sympathetic commercial development of a grade 1 listed building in the beautiful town of Stamford in Lincolnshire.

W & J Parker has always invested in land and property along side our involvement in businesses in the food related industry. We currently have a wide portfolio of properties and land around the country including Leicester, Chesterfield and Kings Lynn.

We also invest in development opportunities; we are the name behind the highly successful Fosse Park retail park in Leicester, we have built housing developments in Market Harborough and we are currently developing a beautiful and sympathetic barn conversion into homes in Quorn, Leicestershire.
