W & J Parker agrees to sell their shares in Randall Parker Foods to Pilgrim’s UK

Randall Parker Foods has been acquired by Pilgrim’s UK as part of their expansion across the animal protein sector.

Randall Parker Foods plants in Powys and Andover will form part of the Dalehead Foods division and Pilgrim’s are planning further investments at both sites.

All employees and management teams will remain in situ under existing terms as RPF and Dalehead have a working relationship dating back over 30 years. It is hoped that this acquisition will help to strengthen the lamb supply chain and bring UK farmers and customers closer together.
